The club relies heavily on minibusses to organise all events, both the weekly visits to Calshot and the weekend meets. Due to regulations we even need two drivers for one minibus for most weekend meets. This means we are in a constant need for minibus drivers.

Usually the Students Union provides us of the minibusses or at least the insurance since this is very cheap for us. This means all our drivers need to be registered drivers with the Students Union. To become a registered driver there are certain simple requirements:

• You need to hold a clean B driving license for at least three years.
• You need to be at least 21.
• You need to pass a short and easy minibus driver test with the Students Union.

If you satisfy the frist two requirements all you need to do is:

• Let us know.
• Fill in the minibus driver form on level two of the Students Union building and arrange a date to take the test.
• Pass the test (don't be afraid, this is easy)!

Finally, as a reward for going through all the trouble, you should know that as a driver you get £10 off any weekend meet you're driving on. You do a lot of essential and tyring work after all!
