Events

SUMC is one of the most active clubs at Southampton University. If you enjoy climbing, bouldering, mountain walking or just love being in the great-outdoors, there's something happening soon that you won't want to miss out on!

There's fortnightly trips, around the UK, socials every Wednesday and trips to Calshot, a local climbing wall, every Thursday.

In addition to this, we run occasional special events. Last year we ran a New Year trip to Corsica, which was so successful, this year we'll be spending New Year in the Costa Blanca where the club has had great experiences in years long gone by.

But, there's more to the club than the organised events. You'll meet lots of people who love climbing as much as you, so, there'll always be the opportunity for a weekend in the mountains, a spot of bouldering after lectures or a weeks holiday somewhere exotic.
